In December of 1847, in a small French town, a clergyman asked a local artist to pen a poem for Christmas mass. “O Holy night, the stars are brightly shining. It is the night of our dear saviors birth.” This poem would become a Christmas hymn that would break musical barriers and become a beloved Christmas tradition sung around the world.

The incredible story behind this hymn, and the nativity story that inspired it, are the inspiration for a new Christmas tradition from the creative minds and hearts of storytellers Tony Marr and Steven James.

Steven James is a critically-acclaimed author and professional storyteller. He has penned more than forty books, including a novel series that was optioned by ABC Studios. Passionate about equipping people to tell their own stories, he has appeared more than 1500 times, performing and teaching worldwide.
